EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel held charges for court last week for a woman accused of driving drunk and causing a disturbance in August.

Joan M. Reese of Lancaster Township was arrested on Aug. 7 by Jackson Township police.

Police allege that Reese drove to a house on Perry Highway and started arguing with a man there about a dog, according to court records. She was with her two daughters, one of whom is 16 years old.

At one point she allegedly said “go get the gun from the van” and “I’m going to put one between your eyes.”

Her vehicle was searched and police did not find any weapons.

A test of her blood allegedly revealed that she had a 0.104 percent blood-alcohol level.

She was charged with simple assault, endangering the welfare of children, DUI and harassment. She is free on a recognizance bond.
