B’NAI ABRAHAM

The Festival Sh’mini Atzeret/Simchat Torah observance at Congregation B’nai Abraham, 519 N. Main St., has been changed to Friday. A 6 p.m. potluck dairy dinner will be in the social hall followed by the festival service and Parade of the Torahs at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Baptism during the Sunday worship service.

FIRST BAPTIST

The ladies’ Bible study of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Dittmer home.

The church will have an “Along the Walk” youth conference from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Baptist Youth Center, 228 Jefferson St.

Tom Brown of Fishbone Ministry will give a short presentation during the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service. There will be a luncheon at noon and Marty Von will speak at the 1 p.m. worship service.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will have a seminar on confronting racism at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The senior choir will practice at 7:30 p.m. today.

There will be a Sunday school class for infants, toddlers and parents at 9:45 a.m. Sunday.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will open the free clothing bank Grace’s Closet from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The evangelism and stewardship team will have an event planning meeting following worship Sunday in the church library.

There will be a GLOW planning meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. To help with the GLOW youth program, attend the meeting.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Pine Valley Camp’s “Light of the City” children’s choir will sing at Highland Presbyterian Church, 310 Franklin St., Slippery Rock, at the Sunday service.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Interim pastor the Rev. James Steiner will lead the Sunday worship service at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.

The session will meet at 6:45 p.m. Monday in the Hall Memorial Lounge.

Steiner will lead an adult Bible study from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Reservations are due Sunday for the fall luncheon sponsored by the deacons at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 30.

LIVING WATERS

The Fellowship of Christian Stewardship Teens will host a tailgate social hour for the congregation at 12:15 p.m. Sunday. The FCS annual meeting will follow at 1 p.m.

The sanctuary will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday for community quiet time.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will host a youth-sponsored spaghetti dinner at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The church will host a blood drive beginning at noon Tuesday.

Eve Bible study will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the church lounge.

SUMMIT PRESBYTERIAN

Summit Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive, will sponsor trunk or treat with crafts and food for children in fifth grade and younger at 4 p.m. Saturday at HIS Kids Christian School, 650 Saxonburg Road.
