Living Dead Weekend goes on Friday through Sunday in Evans City, where the 1968 classic, “Night Of The Living Dead,” was filmed. This annual event will feature movie screenings, 30 celebrities from George Romero films signing autographs, seminars and discussion panels, crafts, food and exhibits. The third annual Autumn Wine and Brew Fest, hosted by Mars Public Library, will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Treesdale Community Center, One Treesdale Commons, Gibsonia. Tickets are $25 in advance at marsarealibrary.org or $30 at the event. Proceeds benefit the library. Call 724-625-9048.
Butler Ghost Walks will take place at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from Oct. 21 to 29. The 90-minute guided walks begin in Butler’s Diamond Park opposite the Butler County Courthouse. Spectators will be told stories about the ghosts from Butler’s past by guide Bill May. Reservations can be made at butlerghostwalk@gmail.com or by calling 724-256-9026. Cost is $10. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., presents its annual Pumpkin Pancake Brunch on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Stewart Hall. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children younger than 10. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 700 Frank Curto Drive, will host a family yoga class on Oct. 23. Phipps is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and until 10 p.m. Fridays. Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., will host “Hometown-Homegrown” 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22. Activities include cooking demonstrations, cookbook exchange, food and wine/spirits sampling and live music.
