Fire crews sent to smoking house near Portersville
Multiple fire crews this morning battled a house fire on Alben Road in Portersville.
Fire crews were alerted shortly before 11 a.m.
Traffic on Route 488 is being directed by emergency personnel.
Firefighters had to cut holes in the roof to ventilate the house of smoke.
Responding crews are from Portersville-Muddycreek, Unionville, Harmony, Prospect and Slippery Rock stations.
