Albert Stephen Schwab Jr.
Albert Stephen Schwab Jr., 84, a longtime resident of Cranberry Township passed away Wednesday, while in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.
Born March 29, 1932, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Albert Stephen and Ruth (Walther) Schwab Sr.
Al proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Military Police, during the Korean War.
During his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and creating stained glass pieces for his family. Al also was an umpire for the Cranberry Township Baseball Association for many years.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Al leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 58 years, Joyce (Harper) Schwab, whom he married April 26, 1958; three children, Michael Schwab and his wife, Luann, of Zelienople, Gary Schwab and his wife, Lynn, of Sarasota, Fla., and Karen Schwab and her husband, Scott Convery, of Fombell; four grandchildren, Courtney Schwab, Dakota Schwab, Chloe Schwab and Dylan Convery; and his extended family members.
