Norma Jean Galli Falo

Norma Jean Galli Falo, 85, of New Kensington passed away peacefully Friday at home.

She was born Sept. 6, 1930, in New Kensington, to the late John and Mary Caporali Galli and was a resident of New Kensington her entire life.

Norma Jean was a 1948 graduate of Ken-Hi and was secretary, treasurer and salesperson for Galli Distributing Co. in New Kensington. A dedicated businesswoman, she was very active in the business and well-known across the state. She enjoyed dining out and family get-togethers.

She was a member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Dominick A. Falo; her brother, John M. (Ethel J.) Galli of Middlesex Township; her niece and nephews, Johnny (Ashley) Galli, Louis C. Galli, Christina M. (Andrew) Byler and Andrew C. (April) Galli; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Johnny, Dominick, William, Charley, Andy, Samantha, Chloe and Avery Galli and Christian, Isabella, Alexandra, Johnny and James Byler.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Louis J. Galli.

FALO — The viewing for Norma Jean Galli Falo, who died Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
