T. Craig McKee

T. Craig McKee, 83, of Worthington, died peacefully surrounded by his daughters Thursday at Meadow Lake Manor in Worthington.

He was born on the family farm in Worthington on April 14, 1933, to the late Thomas Clifford & Ethel (Wagner) McKee.

He was a retired farmer and a feed and seed dealer. Craig also was a mail carrier for the Worthington area.

He served in the United States Army.

Mr. McKee was of the Protestant faith.

He was a 1951 Worthington High School graduate and a 1955 graduate of Penn State University.

He was known as the local groundhog exterminator. In one year alone, he eliminated over one hundred. He was also an avid hunter and liked bowling. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Vicki I. (Thomas) Abell of Worthington, Teri McKee of San Antonio, Fla., and Cricket (Sean) Woodside of Worthington; his granddaughters, Nicole (Michael) Watz of Peoria, Ariz., Kelli Dicey of Worthington, Lindsey (Kevin) Williams of San Antonio, Fla., Hayley Woodside of Worthington, and Hannah Woodside of Worthington; his grandsons, Christian Woodside of Worthington, and Brenden Woodside of Worthington; his great-grandsons, Brandon Nealey of San Antonio, Fla., and Shane Williams of San Antonio, Fla.; his great-granddaughters, Shealin Williams of San Antonio, Fla., and Devon Watz of Peoria, Ariz., and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by two sisters, Violet (Perry) Ray of Butler, and Marilyn (Bob) Elder of Enon Valley, Pa., and two brothers, Jim (Luana) McKee of Worthington and Jack (Judy) McKee of Montrose, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, R. Dean McKee and his wife, Shirley.

MCKEE — Friends of T. Craig McKee, who passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and again from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St. in Worthington.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Franklin Union Baptist Church in Worthington, following an additional visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Craig's honor to Don't Stop Dreamin', 612 N.
