Butler County will begin studying and prioritizing transportation issues.

The county commissioners this morning unanimously awarded a contract not to exceed $16,748 to the engineering firm Whitman, Requardt & Associates of Seven Fields to conduct the first phase of a county mobility plan.

Commissioner Chair Leslie Osche said the study would assess the county’s needs to prioritize transportation projects. The study also would identify funding opportunities.
