Vintage truck, car collide on Route 68
CONNOQUENESSING — A woman was injured Friday afternoon after allegedly rear ending a vintage pickup truck on Route 68.
The driver of a car was taken to a nearby hospital with neck and shoulder injuries by Butler EMS.
The male driver of a restored 1966 Chevrolet custom pickup truck was not hurt. The truck suffered rear-end damage, while the car was towed with heavy damage.
Witnesses reported that the car rear ended the truck, which was stopped in the road with its turn signal on attempting to turn into a driveway, police said. The accident happened at 2:43 p.m.
Traffic was limited to one lane on Route 68 for about an hour, while the scene was cleared.
State police is investigating the incident.
