Fox drawing wins top honors at art show

“One of These Nights,” a colored pencil drawing by Monica Swaney, won Best of Show Award as well as the People's Choice Award in the Butler Art Center's Invitational Art Show.

The winners in the Butler Art Center’s Invitational Art Show for this year have been announced.

The Best of Show Award and the People’s Choice Award were both presented to Monica Swaney for her colored pencil drawing of a fox, called “One of These Nights.”

Judges for the show were Kim Freithaler and Marianne Pionati.
