Run away girl found safe
A 16-year-old Butler girl who had run away from home last week has been found.
“She was returned home and is safe with her family,” police Deputy Chief David Adam said this morning.
Authorities said Caitlyn Wodarski was found in Maysport, Clarion County, about an hour's drive from her family's home in Butler.
She was reportedly with an 18-year-old Butler man, who is believed to be her boyfriend.
Caitlyn left her home last Friday night and her family filed a missing person's report the next day. Police said she left on her own.
The girl called a family member Wednesday to say she was safe, Adam said. Later that day, authorities learned of her whereabouts.
State police in Clarion went to the undisclosed location where they found Caitlyn. Family members drove to Clarion and picked her up.
The family at 8:18 p.m. notified Butler police that she was home.
Adam said the girl faces no charges and that the investigation is concluded.
