Robert E. Snyder
Robert E. Snyder, 81, of Cranberry Township passed away Wednesday morning in the VA Butler Healthcare Hospice Unit, Butler.
Born Oct. 1, 1934, in Butler, he was the son of the late Walter Edgar and Ruth Leona Byers Snyder.
He was a Presbyterian.
Bob retired from Supervalu with 48 years in the food-service business.
He served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Air Force.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Bob is survived by his wife, Betty Barrickman Snyder, who he married June 2, 1962; one daughter, Belinda Ann (Bryan) Stillman of Erie; one son, Ronald Allan (Joanna) Snyder of Hawthorn; three brothers, Thomas C. (Rose), Carl H. (Beverly) and Raymond R. (Patty) Snyder, all of Butler; two great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

SNYDER — Friends and relatives of Robert E. Snyder, who died Wednesday, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
