Butler Township Police2 p.m. July 26 — Christopher Donald Gaiser, 33, of Prospect was charged with retail theft after attempting to take two boxes of Legos valued at $220 from Walmart in Butler Township. Gaiser has one prior retail theft conviction.4:10 p.m. July 21 — Eric Powers, 34, of Butler was charged with driving with a suspended license, failing to give immediate notice of accident to police, reckless driving, careless driving and speeding.Powers was driving on Route 8 near Ann Arbor Lane when his vehicle left the road and struck a fire hydrant, a curb and two signs and rolling over in the process. He fled and was found at the nearby Burger King restaurant.

State Police, Butler,/b>9 p.m. Tuesday — A 40-year-old Butler woman and an 18-year-old Butler male were issued citations for criminal mischief. They caused damage to the lawn statues of a woman who lives on Water Street in Chicora.The police report did not list the names of the accused.State Police, FranklinJuly 6 — Someone broke into the house at 109 Jared Lane in Clinton Township and stole a check from the woman’s check book. The person then forged the woman’s name on the check for $108 and bought items from an auto parts story in southern Venango County. The investigation is ongoing.
