Butler Township Police3:36 p.m. Sunday — Keilynn Shaffer, 29, of Cheswick was charged with theft by deception, receiving stolen property and trespass after Shaffer allegedly made a fraudulent return at Walmart, receiving nearly $63 in cash. Shaffer was prohibited from entering the store following a prior retail theft case.6:40 p.m. July 22 — Michelle R. Mullins, 42, of Butler was charged with retail theft after allegedly taking nearly $36 worth of merchandise from the Walmart in Butler Commons. Mullins was charged with a felony due to her prior record.

Cranberry Twp. Police2:02 a.m. July 23 — Police were dispatched to UPMC-Passavant Cranberry hospital for a report of an assault in the parking lot. Janet Shamblin told officers that her fiancée, Corey W. Neely, 28, of Darlington, Beaver County, beat her and took all her money.According to court records, Shamblin told police that they were at a Pittsburgh Pirates game that night and had been arguing about money.On the way home from the game, their group stopped at a 7-Eleven in Pittsburgh, where Neely allegedly choked her and took her car. Hours later they arranged a meeting at the hospital so he could return her car. When they met he allegedly demanded all of her money, threw her to the ground and started punching, kicking and dragging her by her hair. He fled the scene, but returned when his father called his cell phone.After a short foot chase, Cranberry Township police officers arrested Neely at the hospital. He is charged with felony aggravated assault, felony robbery, misdemeanor resisting arrest and harassment. He is in Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.Monday — Police arrested Michael E. Page, 27, of Cranberry Township who was allegedly found in possession of items stolen from a house in the township four days earlier. On July 21, Page allegedly entered a house on Freedom Road and took three guns, 50 Vicodin tablets, $600 in cash, two blank checks, three Visa credit cards and a fuel card.Later that day he allegedly used the stolen credit cards at a Sunoco Station in Mars and at a Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. When arrested, he allegedly was in possession of the checks, credit cards and 15 Vicodin tablets.Page is charged with felony burglary, three counts of felony theft by unlawful taking, misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property.He is in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.

State Police, Butler5:30 a.m. June 12 — Police are investigating a fire involving several hay bales at McKinney Road in Concord Township. The victim is a 63-year-old male, of West Sunbury. Anyone with information should contact Pennsylvania State Police Butler barracks.

State Police, Clarion4:15 Thursday — Angilena D. Barley, 18, of Flat Rock, Mich., was driving on Interstate 80 in Richland Township when she lost control of the vehicle. The car spun counter clockwise and hit a tree with its passenger side. Barley and Armando Barraza-Guzman, 19, of Melvindale, Mich., who was on the passenger side, sustained minor injuries.10:22 p.m. — 12:40 a.m. July 3 — An unknown person damaged a 2014 Honda Accord owned by Robert Clyde Friedlund of Knox, Pa., while the car was parked in a field in Piney Township.

Franklin, State Police1 p.m. — 4:10 p.m. Thursday — An unknown person broke a window of a residence at 312 Hemlock Road in Scrubgrass Township and took money from a safe in a bedroom.
