SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock High School Assistant Principal Kristen Czubiak and physics teacher Brian Belowich, will participate in a trip to the U.S. naval base in San Diego compliments of the Navy Recruiting District of Pittsburgh.

The educators were nominated by the recruiting district because of their efforts to create a welcoming atmosphere at the high school for military recruiters.

While in San Diego, Czubiak and Belowich will tour a Navy ship and witness life for students once they enter the military. They will meet and interact with sailors.
