James Robinson
James Robinson, 83, of Butler passed away Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 29, 1933, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Anthony Robinson and Irene Robinson.
James was a retired U.S. Army veteran, and he had worked for Lockhart after retiring from the service. He was an avid Steelers fan.
Surviving are his daughter, Judy Robinson of Pittsburgh; his son, James Robinson of Phoenix, Ariz.; his stepdaughter, Belinda Boateng of Pittsburgh; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy (Joseph) Kelly of Pittsburgh and Dorothy Crowder of New Jersey; and two brothers, Leonard Robinson and his wife, Tiffany, of Atlanta, Ga., and Ray Robinson of Altoona, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lilly Spain and Ruth Brandon; and four brothers, Anthony, Dempsey, Claude and Carl Robinson.
ROBINSON — Friends of James Robinson, who died Friday, June 24, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
