Hobnob opens with ‘Shrew’
BUTLER TWP — Hobnob Theatre Company presentsShakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” July 22 to 31, at 6:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at Preston Park, 415 S. Eberhart Road.

Library site of concerts
For the fourth year, the Butler Public Library and Thompson-Miller Funeral Home are teaming up to offer Music in the Courtyard, a free concert series.
Events will kick off at 6 p.m. July 29 with a Drum Circle in which audience members cannot only listen, but also perform.
Other concerts are: Cloud Chamber on Aug. 19 and Well Strung on Sept. 9.
New to the series this year will be a Library Fall Festival on Oct. 8.
This all-day event will feature live musical performances, fall activities, crafts, games, raffles, book sales, and food trucks.

Petrolia hosts music, arts fest
PETROLIA — The Petrolia Music and Arts Festival’s car cruise will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday with food, music and raffles.
The group’s first tractor show will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday featuring music, food, raffles and children’s activities.
Both events take place in Petrolia Borough Park.
