The church’s bid for the former Clarence Brown School building was accepted. The bid will need approval by Commonwealth Judge Mike Yeager and require zoning approval by the township.

Marty’s Marchers, the relay team of Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will participate in the Butler Relay For Life at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Butler Farm Show grounds. The team will sell food and walk for 24 hours to raise funds for cancer research.

Former pastor Ginger DiTullio will lead a service at 11 a.m. A picnic lunch for the church and the community will follow the service. The church will provide chicken and beverages.
