4:32 p.m. Wednesday — Susan Parisi, 64, of Butler caused a two-vehicle crash when she ran a red light at Whitestown and South Duffy roads. No injuries were reported. Police cited Parisi for failing to stop at a red light. A 17-year-old girl, who police did not identify, was the other driver.

12:34 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Juvy G. Fagan, 40, of Volant, Lawrence County, and a pickup truck driven by Timothy M. Brake, 37, of Ellwood City collided at Route 528 and West Main Street in Prospect. Police cited Fagan for a stop sign violation.
Saturday — Police reported they are investigating a case of theft and access device fraud that happened between June 19 and 22. A police report identified the victim as a 56-year-old Marion Township man but provided no other information about the case or the investigation.
Thursday — Police charged Carmen G. Morra, 64, of Butler with trying to illegally buy a gun Feb. 2 at the Rural King store at Clearview Mall in Center Township. He is charged with unsworn falsification to authorities.
Wednesday — Oleksandra M. Banjak, 41, of Worth Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a suspected hit-and-run crash last month in Worth Township. She was allegedly more than three times over the legal limit for alcohol when arrested.
Police said Banjak was northbound on Route 8 when her car crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle’s side-view mirror. Another motorist behind the suspect’s car saw the wreck and continued following Banjak when she didn’t stop, according to court documents.
Eventually, police said, Banjak stopped at her home and parked the car in the garage. Police found the defendant at her house and her damaged car in the garage. She smelled of a “strong odor” of alcohol and appeared intoxicated, documents said.
Police eventually took her to the barracks for a breath test, which showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.255 percent, documents said. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.
In addition to driving under the influence, Banjak is charged with hit-and-run, failing to stop and sign information or render aid after an accident, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.
1:09 a.m. July 3 — Joshua A. Wisnienski, 21, of Sarver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 just south of Route 356 in Buffalo Township.

8:37 p.m. Saturday — A man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 near the Graff Bridge in North Buffalo Township. Police said charges are pending lab results.
5:19 p.m. Thursday — A 23-year-old man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of DUI at the Hilltop Plaza near Pizza Hut in East Franklin Township. Police said charges are pending lab results.
4:28 p.m. Wednesday — A 32-year-old Kittanning man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 28 just north of the Buffalo Bridge in South Buffalo Township. Police said charges are pending lab results.
2:40 a.m. Tuesday — A 49-year-old Kittanning man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 422 in North Buffalo Township. Police said charges are pending lab results.
