BUFFALO CHARGE

Services will be at the usual times Sunday for the three churches, and there will be Communion. Craigsville United Methodist Church, 313 Craigsville Road, Worthington, will worship at 8:30 a.m. McKee Chapel United Methodist Church, 349 Fenelton Road, Fenelton, will worship at 9:45 a.m. and Fenelton United Methodist Church, 810 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, will worship at 11 a.m.

BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will have special music Sunday from Debby Shutak.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The youth group of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, is accepting donations for its mission trip to Florida.

The Red Church offering Sunday will help the Community Health Clinic of Butler County.

The men’s fellowship breakfast will be at 8 a.m. Monday at King’s Restaurant, 191 New Castle Road.

The dinner work team will meet at 4 p.m. Monday

The finance committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The July food cupboard items are peanut butter and jelly.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH

Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will have a trip to the Tour-Ed Mine Saturday with lunch at Cooper’s Station. Participants will leave at 8:45 a.m. from the church. For more information, call the church at 724-283-8407 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

A pickup game of basketball will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Enter at the ramp door of the gym.

The board of directors will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church holds services at McQuistion Elementary School.

The youth Kennywood trip for sixth- through 12th-graders will leave at 10 a.m. Saturday and return at 8:30 p.m. Take a lunch and dinner or plan to buy them at the park.

EAST BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, will have an outdoor worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on the church grounds. Music by the quartet Four for Christ will be featured. An indoor picnic will follow. Take food to share.

FIRST BAPTIST

Activities at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., on Sunday will include Sunday school, worship, a noon luncheon and a 1 p.m. worship service.

The Women’s Missionary Fellowship will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Baptist Youth Center.

Connecting Threads will meet at noon Tuesday at the youth center.

Church youths will participate in soccer camps at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Worth Township, from Monday to Saturday. For more information, call 724-287-7241.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

The youths of First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, will meet at 7 p.m. Friday.

The SummerFest celebration will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church. It will include singing, testimonies, a cookout and games.

GRACE@CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will have Ladies’ Night Out at 5:30 p.m. today at the Rock Ann Haven, 141 Greenwood Drive.

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The worship and music committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The finance committee will not meet this month.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Beth Ackelson and Tabitha Snyder will provide special music during the Sunday worship service.

Community Cares will collect cereal Sunday morning for those in need in the community.

Sunday is the deadline to purchase T-shirts for the Butler Farm Show.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

A congregational meeting will follow Sunday worship at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.

Registrations are due Sunday for the disc golf outing July 16 at Moraine State Park.

Tickets for the Butler Blue Sox game July 23 are available from the deacons.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The building and grounds committee of Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The membership committee will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

New Zion Evangelical Congregational

Missionary Beth Jordal of Greenwood, Indiana, will speak during the Sunday worship service at New Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, 1195 Airport Road, Emlenton. Her short-term mission work has taken her to Alaska, South Korea and the Ukraine. For more information, call 724-750-0010.

NORTH BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Butler Church Road, Chicora, will not have its regular service Sunday. The congregation will meet with East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, for a joint outdoor worship service on their church yard at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. An indoor picnic will follow. Take food to share.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The Rev. Phil Jamison will lead the Sunday worship service at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St.

The golf outing will be July 23 at Krendale Golf Course, 131 N Eberhart Road. Sign up in the narthex before the July 17. For more information, see Chuck King.

Dinner with friends will meet at 6 p.m. Saturday at North Country Brewing, 141 S. Main St., Slippery Rock. For reservations, contact Susan Moon.

Covenant Food Cupboard will accept donations of baby food, diapers, food market gift certificates and food. Deliver donations to the narthex.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

The Christian Outreach Ministry of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will lead the 2 p.m. Sunday worship service at Saxony Health Center.

The weekly prayer circle will meet at noon Tuesday in the fellowship hall.

The biking ministry will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Marwood Trailhead.

The Senior Stars will have lunch and a tour at Narcisi Winery in Gibsonia Wednesday. They will meet at the church at 10:45 a.m. to car pool.

This month’s food bank requests are soup, pasta and canned peas and carrots.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

The youths of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will leave for a mission trip at 1:30 p.m. Friday and return Tuesday.

“3T” will meet at 9 a.m. Monday in the fellowship hall.

The “Prayer Shawl Ministry” will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Church Lounge.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will offer blood-pressure checks after the 5:30 p.m. Saturday worship service and the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Outreach will meet at 9 a.m. Sunday at the church.

This month’s gathering will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Petraks.

The property committee will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

ZION LUTHERAN

Zion Lutheran Church, 266 Zion Church Road, Chicora, will serve Holy Communion at the Sunday worship service.

There are sign-up sheets in the vestibule to help with the parking, auction and food service at the car cruise July 16. The dunk-tank will be managed by the Sunday school classes.
