Two false bomb threats were called into the Butler County Government Center this afternoon.

Sheriff Mike Slupe said all three county buildings, including the courthouse and human services building, were searched.

“Nothing suspicious was found,” Slupe said. “We swept all the buildings.”

He said the buildings were not evacuated since nothing suspicious was found.

“We followed our procedures,” Slupe said.

The prothonotary's office received the first call at 12:50 p.m., followed by the human services building at 2:20 p.m.
