CRANBERRY TWP — A woman was injured this afternoon in a two-car accident at the intersection of Route 19 and Rowan Road.

The airbags deployed in the woman's silver Chevrolet Spark, which suffered heavy-front end damage. It collided with a black Hyundai SUV, which also was damaged.

Northbound traffic was reduced to one lane for about 30 minutes while both vehicles were towed.

Two Cranberry Township ambulances were called to evaluate the drivers, police said at the scene.

The names of the drivers were not released by police.

The Cranberry Volunteer Fire Company also responded to the scene to clean up debris.
