SRU mopping up flooded student center
SLIPPERY ROCK — The Robert M. Smith Student Center at Slippery Rock University remains closed today from a broken water main.
Crews have been cleaning up from the flooding after it was discovered early Tuesday morning.
Robb King, SRU spokesman, said received notification about the problem at 3:15 a.m.
A water main broke over the holiday weekend.
The building was closed Tuesday and today while the first floor is cleaned.
King was unsure if any activities had to be canceled, but said some employees were displaced, working in other offices across the campus.
