Korn named Junior Woman of the Year
SLIPPERY ROCK — The GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Butler named Tiffany Korn the 2016 Junior Woman of the Year during its closing dinner ceremony at North Country Brewing in May.
Korn has been a Junior Women’s Club member since 2013 and has been active on the executive board for the 2015-2016 year as the corresponding secretary.
She played an instrumental role in the success of Twilight Magic, an annual fundraiser, for the 2016 year.
She dedicated countless hours serving as the event co-chair this past year, helping to raise more than $19,000 for local non-profits.
After graduating from Butler High School in 2005, Korn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where she lettered four years on the UPJ Lady Cats golf team.
Korn is now employed and manages a family- owned and operated business, Aubrey’s Dubbs Dred Golf Course.
She is the daughter of John and Jeanne Aubrey and is married to David Korn.
Besides volunteering and raising money for her community, Korn enjoys golfing, being outdoors and spending time with her two nieces.
The GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Butler is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
