BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Gordon Thompson will provide the special music Sunday at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The men’s group of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday at Mac’s Route 8 Café, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

The summer picnic will be from 2:30 p.m. to dusk Saturday. Take a side dish. For location details, call the church at 724-283-8407.

The church office will be closed Friday through July 1. In an emergency, contact the Rev. Hughie Orsborne.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

The annual ecclesiastical meeting of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will follow the worship service Sunday in the assembly room. The meeting will include a slate of nominees for elders and representatives for the nominating committee and all church reports.

The “Noisy Offering” will be received during the Sunday worship service.

FIRST BAPTIST

This Sunday, First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will have Sunday school, morning worship and a 6 p.m. worship service.

GRACE@CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

“In the News” Bible study will be at 9 a.m. Sunday in the back of the sanctuary.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will recognize graduates during the Sunday worship service.

The women’s book club will meet at 9 a.m. June 30 at Mac’s Route 8 Cafe, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

Donated bottles and gallon jugs of drinking water should be placed near the food donation barrel in the overflow area.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The Rev. William Jackson will lead both services Sunday at Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars.

WIC services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the fellowship hall.

Youths will leave for Creation Festival on Wednesday.

MERIDIAN UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The sewing group of Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, will celebrate its 15th anniversary at dusk July 3 with a professional fireworks display. The parking lot will open at 8 p.m.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Weather permitting, the Sunday service of Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will be outside in the pavilion.

The mission team will leave for New Jersey at noon Sunday.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will have the sanctuary open from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday for community quiet time.

The Grief and Beyond group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will host an American Red Cross blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Butler Moose, 225 W. Jefferson St.

ST. PAUL ROMAN CATHOLIC

St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., will celebrate a Mass in Spanish at 2 p.m. Sunday.

SUMMIT PRESBYTERIAN

Summit Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive, will have Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. at the Christian Community Outreach building, 650 Saxonburg Road. There will be a celebration of vacation Bible school, a time of fellowship and a potluck lunch. Take a dish to share with many. The church will provide place settings and beverages.

Office hours will be 9 a.m. to noon Monday to June 30 due to staff vacations.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will have a 10 a.m. Sunday worship service in the picnic pavilion.
