Endocrinologists Sanjay Dixit and Emily Martin recently joined the Butler Health System medical staff.
Endocrinology is a specialty for diseases and disorders of the endocrine system or the system of glands in the body that secrete hormones like the thyroid or pancreas.
Dixit is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
He completed an internal medicine residency at Ohio State University Medical Center and fellowships in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Martin is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
She earned her medical degree at the University of Vermont School of Medicine.
She completed an internal medicine categorical residency and fellowships in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dixit and Martin will begin seeing patients in July at the Crossroads Campus, 127 Oneida Valley Road.
