B'NAI ABRAHAM

A special Confirmation service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Congregation B’nai Abraham, 519 N. Main St. The Levin triplets — Jordan, Marni and Kayla, who will co-lead with Cantor Michal, — will be celebrated and confirmed at the service. A cheesecake bar sponsored by their grandparents will follow the service.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will have a farewell party for James, Dana and Ebon Golla at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Oz Hall. Those attending should take a dish to share.

The Covenant Presbyterian Church food cupboard work team will meet at 8:45 a.m. Monday.

The First English Lutheran Church work team will meet at 4 p.m. Monday.

The church office will be closed June 24.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH

Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will celebrate Father’s Day at the Sunday morning worship service.

There will be a pickup basketball game from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Enter at the ramp door of the gym.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

A water baptism service and picnic will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the Pleasant Valley Beach of Moraine State Park.

FIRST BAPTIST

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will have morning Sunday school classes and morning worship followed by a noon luncheon and a 1 p.m. worship service Sunday.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

The men’s ministry, Foundations, of First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, will meet at 7 a.m. Saturday at the church.

GLADE RUN UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The youth group of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will travel on its summer mission trip June 25 to a community outside of Boston.

GRACE@CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will have Lectio Divina from 9:15 to 9:40 a.m. Sunday. This is a gentle way to encounter the readings from Scripture in a prayerful and meditative way. No experience is necessary.

Members of the church will lead worship with the adult day program participants at LIFE Butler County, 231 W. Diamond St., at 11 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. To participate, meet at the church at 9:40 a.m.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Amber Crowe, Andre Parker, Ernie Taylor and Jenny Martin will provide the special music during the Sunday worship service.

There will be special recognition of fathers Sunday for Father’s Day.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will ordain and install elders and deacons during the Sunday morning service

The Betsy McCormick Circle will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday for a cleaning project followed by lunch.

HOMEACRE CHAPEL

Fathers will be honored at the Sunday morning service of Homeacre Chapel, 340 Whitestown Road.

There will not be a lunch or afternoon service. A group will travel to camp at Little Mahonning Bible Conference in Smicksburg and have an evening service there.

The church office will be closed from Monday to June 25. The 6:30 p.m. Wednesday service will be at camp.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will have its session meeting at 7 p.m. today in the board room.

Fathers will be recognized Sunday.

The Rev. Bill Jackson will be the guest minister for both services Sunday.

Vacation Bible school will begin at 6 p.m. Monday.

PORTERSVILLE PRESBYTERIAN

Portersville Presbyterian Church, 1297 Perry Highway, Portersville, will have a keenager picnic at noon Wednesday at Betsy’s Barn in Portersville.

The Divine Inspirations program will follow the luncheon.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

The PM Sewing Ministry of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will meet at 6 p.m. today.

The indoor/outdoor yard sale will continue from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday. All proceeds will fund the day camp for community children.

Father’s Day will be celebrated Sunday, and Holy Communion will be shared at both services.

The church nursery will be available during the summer services from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m.

The council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Hattie Cooper Patio Room.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will offer Holy Communion at Saturday and Sunday services.

Fathers will be honored at all weekend worship services.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

The June meeting of the church council of Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will be at 7 p.m. Monday.

The health and wellness committee will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

WHITESTOWN ROAD BAPTIST

Whitestown Road Baptist Church, 409 Whitestown Road, will have a 6 p.m. Father’s Day Sunday night community campfire prayer service. Take a lawn chair.
