Christine G. Bauer
Christine G. Bauer, 94, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Born April 7, 1922, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late E. Alex Trofimuk and Viola Smith Trofimuk.
She worked in the food service department for South Butler County School District for 22 years, retiring in 1985. Christine was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church, the Saxonburg VFW #7376 Auxiliary, Butler Moose Auxiliary, Saxonburg American Legion #683 Auxiliary, Cabot A&R and Freeport Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her son, Harold “Bud” Bauer of Butler, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Bauer; sons, James L. Bauer and John R. Bauer; daughter, Barbara J. Bauer; two sisters and five brothers,
