Butler Police1:15 a.m. Friday — Kadisha M. Wozniak, 21, of Butler allegedly attacked another woman during an altercation on the 300 block of Eau Claire Street.Police said Wozniak punched 23-year-old Stormie Milligan in the head and face at Milligan’s home. The suspected assault left Milligan covered in blood with bruising and swelling around the eye.The victim was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital where she was diagnosed with a nasal fracture, according to court documents. Wozniak is charged with simple assault.3:09 p.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Trisha Boyer, 39, of New Castle struck the back of another SUV on Hansen Avenue at West New Castle Street. John O. Emery, 65, of Butler was the other driver.Wednesday — An unidentified vehicle struck a 60-year-old woman’s car that was parked near the entrance of the First Baptist Church on the 200 block of West New Castle Street. The car’s driver’s side mirror was broken and its front fender was damaged.
Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Police accused Terry D. McClimans Jr., 30, of Butler of child endangerment stemming from a suspected opioid overdose March 17 at the Old Plank Estates playground. He was supervising a 2-year-old boy when he allegedly passed out from the overdose.Police said that in addition to endangering the welfare of a child, McClimans faces charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.Monday — Police cited a 12-year-old Butler girl for slapping another girl in the face at Butler Intermediate High School May 20. The suspect is charged with harassment.11:11 p.m. Thursday — Maria N. Young, 21, of Butler was arrested after she allegedly threatened her 17-year-old sister with a knife during a domestic dispute at the family’s home on the 400 block of New Castle Road.Young was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. She was placed in Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail following arraignment.7:36 p.m. Thursday — Stephen McClintock, 26, of Butler allegedly shoplifted about $365 worth of merchandise at the Walmart at Butler Commons. When an employee stopped him outside the store pushing a shopping cart with 17 unpaid items in it, he took off running, a police report said.The suspect was last seen running across North Duffy Road. Police eventually identified McClintock, who is charged with a felony count of retail theft, due to his prior shoplifting arrests.Thursday — Police charged Amanda L. Marcucci, 37, of Parker with taking a 100 dollar bill that another customer momentarily left unattended May 19 at the cash register at Sam’s Club, Moraine Pointe Plaza. She is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.Wednesday — Police charged Jessicka Ann West, 28, of Butler in connection with a suspected theft March 29 at the Lowe’s home improvement store at Moraine Pointe Plaza.She is charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property, and conspiracy to commit the crimes of theft by deception, receiving stolen property and retail theft.9:33 p.m. May 31 — Robert McGraw, 44, of Slippery Rock was hurt when he swerved his car to avoid a deer and crashed on Lions Road.7:57 p.m. May 30 — Aaron J. Burd, 38, of Butler tried to run away after a traffic stop on Route 68. Police said they saw Burd run a stop sign. After pulling him over, according to a police report, he took off on foot.Burd is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police and a stop sign violation.11:44 a.m. May 30 — David P. Swain, 49, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his father, 72-year-old David R. Swain, during a domestic dispute at their home on New Castle Road. The elder Swain suffered cuts, bruises and a broken thumb.The younger Swain was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in Butler County Prison on $3,000 bail.
