Office to get addition

One-way alley will be closed

ZELIENOPLE — A building housing a dental office will undergo changes.

The office for Korwin and Linda King on East Grandview Avenue will get a 595-square-foot addition for three additional rooms and more parking via a minor subdivision.

The plan was recommended Thursday night by the borough planning commission.

It also closes the narrow one-way alley between the properties.

Korwin King said the alley is “a nightmare” to deal with.

“People have hit the house, and we’ve gotten stuck back there,” King said.

The subdivision of the properties at 116 and 120 E. Grandview Ave. total about 13,200 square feet.

The property at 116 E. Grandview Ave. will be converted to office space from a single family home the Korwins bought.

The office will have 13 parking spaces with the addition.

It is not known when construction of the addition will start.
