BUTLER ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Butler Assembly of God, 105 Purvis Road, will have a spring carnival for children 3 to 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the annex. The free event will feature games and refreshments.

There will be 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday revival meetings with evangelist Jason Jablonski.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

Cleanup day at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, begins at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Sunday is the last day of Sunday school until fall.

Church council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

There will be no First English Lutheran Church community dinner work team on May 30.

COMMUNITY LIFE CHURCH

The church holds services at McQuistion Elementary School.

Men and boys are invited to this year’s skeet and trap shoot at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Moraine Gun Club, 211 Staff Road, Slippery Rock.

The ladies craft and dessert night is 6 p.m. May 26 at Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St. Sunday is the registration deadline.

Communion will be observed Sunday.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

The congregation of Covenant Presbyterian, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have a hymn sing during the worship hour Sunday.

Items for the annual rummage sale may be brought to the fellowship hall any time before the sale. The sale is 9 a.m. June 11.Limit clothing to one bag per family.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

The Foundations men’s group of First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., will meet at 7 a.m. Saturday at the church.

There will be a prayer meeting at 10 a.m. Sunday followed by a worship service.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST

First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will have a flea market 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Crossfire campus, 1802 N. Main St. Ext. Proceeds benefit the Honduras mission team.

GLADE RUN

The Youth group of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday in the youth room before a springtime bike ride on the scenic Butler-Freeport Community Trail.

The confirmation class of 2016 will join both Sunday services.

GRACE@CALVARY LUTHERAN

The confirmation class at the church, 123 E. Diamond St., will meet at 9 a.m. Sunday for Bible study.

Baked goods for Meals on Wheels should be left in the kitchen Sunday. Donations should not have nuts or icing and should be packaged for the freezer.

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Tishy Hornsby and MaryAnn Mahan will provide the music at the service Sunday.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will observe Trinity Sunday. The Pentecost offering will be received.

The disc golf group will meet at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the bike rental on the North Shore of Moraine State Park.

The yarn group will meet at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

NORTH MAIN STREET CHURCH OF GOD

The church, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will have barbecue today at 6 p.m. at Celebrate Recovery in the fellowship hall.

Graduation Sunday is June 5. Graduate information must be received by May 29 to be included in the bulletin.

“The Whole Sex Talk” parenting class for parents is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays in June. To register, call 724-285-4214.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

The church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will have the annual Sunday school celebration Sunday. There will be presentations for each class.

RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCH

The church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, will have a work day at 9 a.m. Saturday.

There will be a congregational meeting about the parking lot after the Sunday service.

A meeting for worship planning is 6:30 p.m. Monday.

A vacation Bible school meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will have a brief congregational meeting after worship Sunday to elect new officers.

Graduation Sunday is June 5.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

The youth groups of the church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will have their annual Gardeners’ Paradise and Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds benefit the youth mission trip.

Confirmation and Communion will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

The CorinthYinz young adult ministry will meet at noon Sunday.

The sanctuary will be open 6 to 8 p.m. Monday for community quiet time.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will serve Holy Communion this weekend.

The church will celebrate Karen Krenitsy’s 10 years of service as lead organist Sunday. She will play 20 minutes of music before the Sunday worship services. She will conclude her ministry June 5. A reception in her honor will follow the 10:15 a.m. service.

Youths will have a picnic fellowship 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Eve Bible study meets Tuesday for the last time before summer break.

The sanctuary choir meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

ST. PETER ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH

The church, 127 Franklin St., will celebrate an Anointing of the Sick Mass at 2 p.m. Sunday. A reception will follow.

TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH

The priorities meeting for church council and ministry chairs of Trinity Lutheran, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, is at 9 a.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall.

The pastor’s 25th anniversary of ordination will be recognized at all services this weekend.

The Sunday school art show and a book fair is 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

There will be a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Room 108 for those interested in helping with vacation Bible school.

The worship and music ministry meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
