Fire destroys Zelienople garages
ZELIENOPLE - The occupants of two houses on Spruce Street Tuesday all got out safely when their garages started on fire.
The blaze started in the garage belonging to David and Mary Jo Towsey around 3 p.m. and spread to a garage owned by the Falkenhan family next door.
Firefighters were still putting out hotspots at 4:15 p.m.
Both garages and their contents were totally destroyed.
The cause was unknown Tuesday.
