State Police, Butler2:30 p.m. Sunday — Police said Thomas Legrand, 50, of Fenelton allegedly pulled at the purse of a 46-year-old Fenelton woman during an argument at 314 Cornetti Road in Clearfield Township over a debit card, causing her to fall to the floor. The incident is being investigated as an assault.1:42 p.m. Sunday — Alexander G. Andreassi, 28, of East Brady was driving south on Kittanning Pike in Parker Township when he lost control of his Volkswagen Jetta and went off the road’s right side, hitting an embankment. No one was injured, and Andreassi was cited for driving vehicle at an unsafe speed.10:51 a.m. Sunday — Ashley L. Gallagher, 28, of Slippery Rock was driving west on Fairview Road in Washington Township when she lost control of her Dodge Dart and went off the road’s right side, hitting a tree. No one was injured and Gallagher was cited for driving on a road laned for traffic.3:25 p.m. May 13 — Kevin M. Clark, 19, of Cowansville brandished a retractable razor blade at Kayne A. Quinn, 18, of Cowansville during a verbal altercation in the parking lot of Shorehouse Eatery, 804 E. Brady Road. Clark was charged with simple assault.9:45 p.m. May 12 — Police said someone entered by the rear gate of Rolling Ridge Farms in Concord Township and stole 68 gallons of gasoline from a storage tank sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.3:50 p.m. May 12 — Police said Whitney E. Anderson, 30, of Chicora stole various jewelry valued at $195 from Piercing Pagoda at Clearview Mall while she was an employee there. Anderson is charged with retail theft, and they continue to seek an accomplice in the thefts.

State Police, Mercer7:29 a.m. May 11 — Police said an older, white man with gray hair and glasses bought $20 in gas at Marathon BFS Store in Pine Township and paid with a $50 counterfeit bill.

State Police, New Castle7:15 a.m. May 13 — Police said that between 7 a.m. May 11 and 7:15 a.m. May 13, someone broke into Hoffneier Storage Units along Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township and stole $7,600 worth of items, including 11 pieces of 50-foot, 4/0 AWG welding cable, six pieces of 50-foot, 1/0 AWG welding cable, six pieces of six-foot 4/0 AWG welding cable and two 12-volt NAPA car batteries.
