Main Street road work, and the parking restrictions that accompany it, starts tonight and run through July 29.

The road will be paved from the General Butler Bridge to Penn Street.

Although two lanes of traffic — one each way — will be open to the public at all times, parking is off limits from 4 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Thursday. Any vehicles parked in work zones will be towed at the owner's expense.

Folino Construction, doing the work, anticipates milling tonight and tomorrow. Leveling will be done later this week, and top coating the first week of June,

The work is expected to cost $734,000.
