Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Christopher W. Thompson, 20, of Butler was charged with drunken driving in connection with a two-vehicle wreck at 9:40 a.m. April 24 at Old Plank and Litman roads.Thompson is charged with driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving.Saturday — Nathan J. Marshall, 33, of Fombell, Beaver County, was arraigned on charges stemming from a suspected distraction theft last month at the Holiday Inn Express on North Duffy Road.Marshall and Tasha M. Nagle, 21, of Butler allegedly teamed up about 6:30 p.m. April 26 to make off with $257 from a cash drawer at the clerk's desk.According to court documents, Nagle asked a clerk to show her two handicapped-accessible rooms upstairs. Moments later, Marshall entered the hotel and sneaked behind the desk, stealing the money.Police said the hotel's surveillance system, captured the crime on video.District Judge Sue Haggerty arraigned Marshal on charges of theft and conspiracy. He is held in Butler County Prison on $35,000 bail as well as a state parole warrant.Nagle is wanted on an arrest warrant on similar charges in connection with the hotel theft.Marshall, meanwhile, is also a suspect in six other theft-related crimes, authorities said. Township police last week charged him in one of those cases in connection with a wallet stolen April 22 from Planet Fitness at the Alameda Plaza.He is accused of using a stolen credit card that same day at the Walmart at Butler Commons. Police said Nagle's boyfriend, Kyle B. Snow, 31, of Butler drove Marshall to the store and aided him in the fraudulent transactions.Marshall and Snow are both charged with access device fraud. Marshall also is charged with forgery and receiving stolen property.Police have a second arrest warrant for Nagle. That warrant was issued on charges that she stole a gym bag May 4 at Planet Fitness. She is charged in that case with theft and receiving stolen property.Friday — Ross M. Cammisa, 33, of Butler was charged with drugged driving stemming from a rear-end collision at 12:24 p.m. April 21 on Route 8 south at the Picklegate Crossing.In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Cammisa is charged with driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving.

State Police, Butler2:35 a.m. Saturday — Jeffrey B. McClelland, 53, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Unionville Road just north of Country Club Road in Franklin Township.

State Police, Franklin1:50 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Kristi L. Peters, 47, of Titusville and Donna L. King, 63, of Emlenton collided at Route 8 and Old Route 8 in Irwin Township.Police said the collision happened when Peters pulled into the path of King's car while making a left turn. Peters, who was wearing a seat belt, was apparently not injured, but she was taken to Grove City Medical Center for evaluation.Police said she was cited for making an improper turn.

State Police, Kittanning8 p.m. Saturday — A 26-year-old Indiana County man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs on Route 28 north in South Buffalo Township. Police said drugged driving charges are pending results of toxicology tests.

State Police, Mercer8:32 a.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Donald Cohen, 68, of Long Island, N.Y., struck a guardrail, a PennDOT sign and several small trees along Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.
