Resident puts out fire in Bruin
BRUIN - A basement fire occurred at the residence of 217 Main Street due to a faulty electrical generator.
The fire began around 2:30 p.m., and resident Mike Thornton put it out.
Bruin Volunteer firefighters arrived to take care of hot spots after that.
Burnt wood from the basement ceiling was removed but no structural damage was done.
