COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have Choir Appreciation Day Sunday. The choir and its director, Beverly Antis, will be honored with a reception following the worship service. Sunday will be the last appearance of the full choir until fall.

EAST BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, will welcome visiting British missionary the Rev. Ashley Stansfield to the Bible study meeting at 7 p.m. today. Stansfield will speak about his call as a missionary to the United States.

FIRST BAPTIST

Teens from First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will participate in the spring youth retreat at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday and conclude at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

First Baptist Christian School’s elementary program will be at 6 p.m. Friday.

The Women’s Missionary Fellowship will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

The buildings and grounds committee of Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will have a “Nook and Cranny” cleaning day at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.

NORTH MAIN ST. CHURCH OF GOD

The youth group of North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will participate in a 30-hour famine and lock-in from noon Friday to 6 p.m. Saturday to call attention to world hunger. The youths collected donations for World Vision and they will pack and serve lunches Saturday at Fishbone, an outreach ministry.

Our Helping Hands Food Pantry will be open from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fellowship hall.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) and Mothers of School-age Children (MOPS/Next) will meet at 9:15 a.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of the month in the fellowship hall. Child care will be provided.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will host Chenoa Stock, Presbyterian mission co-worker in Bolivia, at 7 p.m. May 10. Stock will describe her work with hunger and environmental issues.

RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCH

Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, will have a memorial service for Barbara Spitzkopf at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The steering group will meet at 7 p.m. Monday and the council will meet at 8 p.m. Monday.

The choir will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN
