Foul play ruled out in death
MARION TWP, Beaver Co. — Additional tests are needed to determine the death of a Zelienople man.
Beaver County Coroner David Gabauer said Thursday morning that the death of Andrew Verba is still being determined.
“We’re just waiting for the tests to come back,” Gabauer said.
He said, however, foul play has been ruled out.
Results of the tests could be back in about two weeks.
Verba’s body was found in early March in woods near the Beaver-Butler County line not far from his girlfriend’s car, which he reportedly had driven.
His body was discovered several hours after his parents called Zelienople police to report their 25-year-old son missing, authorities said.
Verba lived with his parents on Hazel Street.
Marion Township Police Chief Rudy Harkins could not be reached for comment.
