BC3 campaign exceeds goal
BUTLER TWP - Already exceeding it’s $5.5 million goal, Butler County Community College’s “Pioneer Proud Campaign” will end June 30.
The campaign, which began in the fall of 2013, has raised $6.5 million that will assist in three main projects: renovating the John A. Beck Library, which is being renovated into the Heaton Family Learning Commons; student scholarships and education initiatives and supporting economic developmentby developing a new Allied Health and Workforce Development facility. The campaign was launched by the BC3 Education Foundation. It began with a “quiet phase” that focused on increasing private investments. The second part of the campaign kicked off in September 2015, with the college accepting donations from the community.
