Ronald D. Frantz, 78, of Worthington passed away suddenly Tuesday at his home.

Born Nov. 13, 1937, Mr. Frantz was the son of the late Sam and Verna (Freehling) Frantz.

He retired from U.S. Steel.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Frantz; his son, Jeff Frantz; his daughter, Lori Frantz; his sister, Evelyn Caldwell; his brothers, David and Herb Frantz; and his beloved dog, Katie.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Frantz was preceded in death by two sisters; and his loving wife, Betty, who passed away Feb. 24, 2015.
