Butler Twp Police1:05 p.m., March 15 — Clayton Fredley, 25, of Butler was charged with retail theft, criminal conspiracy to commit retail theft and receiving stolen property.Target Loss Prevention alerted police to a video purported to show Fredley committing retail theft, selecting merchandise with security wraps on them, taking the wraps off and leaving the store with an unknown accomplice. The merchandise was valued at $800.
Cranberry Twp. PoliceMarch 24 — Amber Howe, 31, of New Brighton was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance from an alleged incident March 5.12:42 p.m. March 25 — Celina M. Ayers, 30, of Pittsburgh was caught in Giant Eagle on Route 19 attempting to shoplift razors.Ayers allegedly placed $177.49 worth of razors under her hooded sweat shirt and then was confronted by store security.She is charged with misdemeanor retail theft and is free on $5,000 bail.Wednesday — Elizabeth A. Blume, 29, of Beaver Falls was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia from an alleged incident Feb. 28.Wednesday — Ethan Matoon, 19, of Pittsburgh was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia from an alleged incident March 18.Wednesday — Connor S. McCoy, 19, of Beaver Falls was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia from an alleged incident March 12.Wednesday — Richard S. Layton, 37, of Cranberry Township was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia from an alleged incident March 9.
Grove City PoliceMMarch 17 — A small amount of money was taken from a resident’s room at the Trinity Living Center. Anyone with any information regarding this incident should contact police.
State Police, ButlerWednesday — Thomas J. Gill of Cranberry Township was charged with theft of a PSE Dakota compound bow. The bow, valued at $400, belongs to Dennis Davis.
State Police, Mercer12:18 p.m. Thursday — Nancy J. Dickson, 51, of Mercer, was involved in an automobile accident with Joann L. Rankin, 53, of Mercer. Dickson was in her car traveling north on Route 19, approaching the second entrance into the Grove Mobile Home Park. Rankin was in her vehicle stopped at the entrance waiting to make a left turn onto Route 19. Dickson made a right turn into the entrance and skidded a short distance, colliding with the driver’s side of Rankin’s vehicle.
State Police, New CastleMarch 23 — Zackary Robinson, 19, of Evans City was involved in an accident with Michael Dofner, 21, of Baden. Robinson was driving a car stopped at a stop sign on McConnell’s Mill Road at the intersection of Route 422. He lost control when trying to make a right turn onto McConnell’s Mill Road, traveled left of center and hit Dofner’s vehicle. After the impact, Dofner’s vehicle hit a guard rail.
