JACKSON TWP — Steelers great and beard aficionado Brett Keisel visited here Friday for a charitable cause.

The two-time Super Bowl champion, who spent all 12 of his NFL seasons in Pittsburgh, presented a check for $84,717 to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh on behalf of Speedway gas stations.

He also signed autographs for more than 200 fans who showed up at Friday’s presentation at the Speedway gas station and convenience store at Jackson’s Pointe.

“We have the best fans in the world, so it’s great to see everyone and shake hands,” Keisel said. “It’s been awesome mingling with Steelers nation, Speedway nation and beard nation.”

Two patients from Children’s Hospital were also at the presentation.

Speedway is a supporter of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
