Woman sought for stealing $4,400 from Lancaster Twp man
LANCASTER TWP — Township police are searching for an Allegheny County woman charged with stealing an estimated $4,450 in cash and possessions from her boyfriend over several months.
A warrant has been issued for Heather L. Kurtz, 39, of Plum, Allegheny County.
She faces 16 charges, six of which are felonies, including theft, receiving stolen property and forgery.
Kurtz allegedly stole from her boyfriend Vassili Ferrainolo of Red Brush Trail on multiple occasions between September of 2015 and January, according to court records.
He told police that she stole $100 in cash from his he bedroom, $850 in cash he had to pay bills, $1,500 he had given her to buy a quad for his son, $1,000 in silver coins, 57 prescription pills and an EZ Pass.
She also allegedly took a check from his check book, forged his signature and cashed it for $1,000.
