Washington book will be previewedCRANBERRY TWP — Carl Robertson, independent historian of the Providence Plantation Foundation, will give a preview of his nearly finished book “George Washington’s First Road to Revolution: The Historic Route of 1753,” from 6 to 8 p.m. April 5 at the Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road.In the book, he documents Washington’s entire route from Williamsburg, Va., to Fort LeBoeuf, south of Lake Erie, and back.Registration is required.
