WILKINSBURG, Pa. (AP) A man has been taken in for questioning after his wife was found dead at their home in the Pittsburgh suburbs.

Authorities aren’t identifying the man or his wife, whose body was found in the home in Wilkinsburg, just east of the city.

Police were called to the home shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday after a relative asked them to check on the woman’s welfare. Police forced their way into the residence and found the 63-year-old woman dead.

Police haven’t said how the woman died, but say they located her husband several miles away in Butler County.

He wasn’t immediately charged in her death.

Allegheny County homicide detectives and the medical examiner’s officer were investigating.
