EASTER EGG HUNTS

Local communities will hold egg hunts this month. The following egg hunts are scheduled this weekend:

10 a.m. Saturday, Karns City High School practice field, 1446 Kittanning Pike, Karns City. The free hunt is for children in sixth grade and younger. The sponsor is Harvest Community Church — Petroleum Valley Campus.

10 a.m. Saturday, Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia. The event is free for children ages 10 and younger and will include crafts, games and prizes.

10:30 a.m. Saturday, CrossWay Church, 109 Davis Road, Valencia. The free “Easter EGGspedition” will be outside and indoors. It is for children ages 12 and younger and will include carnival games, a bounce house, food, fire trucks, live music and performances, face painting and prizes. Take a basket. Register online at www.crosswaychurch.org or at the church the day of the hunt. For more information, call 724-898-4600.

1 p.m. Saturday, Crossfire campus of First United Methodist Church, 1802 N. Main St. Ext. There also will be a small musical event, interactive stations and refreshments.

11 a.m. Sunday, East Butler Presbyterian Church, 9th and Randolph Streets, East Butler. The hunt is for children.

Community egg hunt information should be received by the Community Department one week in advance of the event. Include the name and phone number of the person providing the information and send to: Community, Butler Eagle, P.O. Box 271, Butler, PA 16003, or community@butlereagle.com.
