Robinson Fans receives co-op employer award
ZELIENOPLE — Robinson Fans was named a recipient of the 2015 Co-Op Employer of the Year award by the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering.
The Cooperative Education Program solicits nominations annually from faculty and students for employers who exemplify a sustained commitment to the co-op program and its students.
Robinson Fans is an industrial manufacturer of high-efficiency air moving equipment. Its first co-op was hired in 1999 and the company has employed more than 30 co-ops to date.
In a review of their time at Robinson, students expressed a strong work experience in a positive work environment.
The university said “we are long overdue in honoring Robinson Fans as our Co-op Employer of the Year.”
