Christ Community UNITED METHODIST
The Easter chancel choir of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will not practice tonight. The choir will sing Palm Sunday and rehearse at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The community dinner work team will meet at 4 p.m. Monday. The church council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN
The Palm Sunday service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will include a processional with palms, distribution of palm crowns and the One Great Hour of Sharing offering.
The Maundy Thursday service will be at 8 p.m. and include Holy Communion and the Ancient Order of Tenebrae Service. The service is based on the ancient tradition of extinguishing candles one by one until the worshipping congregation sits in total darkness.
FIRST BAPTIST
The ladies’ Bible study of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will be at 7 p.m. today at the Dittmer home.
The First Baptist Christian School senior class will have a luncheon for the berean class at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the Baptist Youth Center.
