Adams Twp. PoliceThursday — Michelle Crowley, 34, of Valencia was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia from an alleged incident March 2.Monday — Brennan Ringler, 41, of Valencia was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of between 0.1 percent and 0.16 percent from a traffic stop March 5. He also was charged with speeding, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility and operating a vehicle without valid inspection.Monday — Jonathan Creel, 24, of Allison Park was charged with DUI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from a traffic stop Feb. 18.
Butler PoliceTuesday — Police cited Susan L. Reott, 31, of Butler for a stop sign violation stemming from a two-vehicle crash at 12:35 p.m. Feb. 24 at Lyon and Morton avenues. Reott suffered minor injuries Janet M. Oesterling, 56, of Summit Township was the other driver.12:04 p.m. Sunday — Jason D. Will, 25, of Butler was picked up on an arrest warrant on West Brady Street. He is charged in the warrant with simple assault Jan. 19 in Butler.Will was arraigned on the misdemeanor assault charge and placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.4:25 p.m. Monday — Bradley S. Cramer, 27, no known address, was arrested for allegedly punching his father during a domestic dispute at the older man's home in the 400 block of Second Street.The victim, Leonard Cramer, told police that he allowed his son to spend the night at his home. But he later regretted that decision when the two got into an argument during which the suspect punched his father in the face, according to court documents.Leonard Cramer suffered minor injuries to the neck, right shoulder and left elbow when the two men later scuffled.Bradley Cramer was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.10:13 a.m. Monday — Jonathan M. Graham, 22, was arrested on charges he attacked his pregnant girlfriend, Taylor Stefanyszyn, during a domestic dispute at their apartment in the 300 block of West Cunningham Street.Graham is accused of placing his hands around the victim's neck and strangling her, according to court documents. He also pressed his knees into her stomach. Stefanyszyn told police that she is 12 weeks pregnant.She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries that included redness and swelling around the neck.Graham was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.10:13 a.m. March 2 — A car driven by Ashley McFeaters, 25, of Slippery Rock, which was stopped at a red light, was rear-ended by another car on Center Avenue at South Monroe Street. The other driver, described as an older white man, did not stop after the crash.The suspect's car is a silver Chevrolet Cavalier that had blue graphic designs on the sides. Police said the vehicle should have minor damage to the front bumper and/or hood.McFeaters' car sustained minor damage to the rear bumper.March 1 — A 49-year-old man reported that someone shot a BB gun at his vehicle at this home in the 300 block of West Wayne Street. Police said the front, driver's side door had a dent in it. The victim did not know when the vandalism occurred.
Cranberry Twp. PoliceMarch 2 — Donald Brown, 27, of Moon Township, Allegheny County, was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, possession of a counterfeit access device and theft by deception after allegedly committing multiple crimes at Kohl's on Route 228.On Dec. 20, he allegedly returned an item, which he had picked up from the shelf and not paid for, and was given a $42 gift card.On Dec. 22, he allegedly stole a $300 kitchen mixer. He is allegedly seen on video surveillance committing both crimes.March 2 — Jason Milam, 32, of Cranberry Township was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of greater than 0.16 percent and misdemeanor accident involving damage from an alleged incident Feb. 26.March 2 — Tracy Romigh, 41, of Darlington, Pa., was charged with DUI with a blood alcohol of between 0.1 percent and 0.16 percent and careless driving from an alleged incident Feb. 21.March 2 — Dustin Cichon, 30, of Cranberry Township was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of greater than 0.16 percent from a traffic stop Feb. 13.March 2 — Matthew Hoffman, 33, of Cranberry Township was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of greater than 0.16 percent and failure to stop at a red signal from a traffic stop Feb. 12.March 2 — Sandip Bajwa, 46, of Cranberry Township was charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level of greater than 0.16 percent and careless driving from a traffic stop Feb. 4.Thursday — An arrest warrant was issued for Allan Schempp, 55, of Valencia.He is facing a charge of making a false oral statement, a felony, after an alleged illegal attempted purchase of a firearm from Field and Stream on Cranberry Square Drive.On Sept. 8, 2015, Schempp allegedly filled out an application to purchase a firearm, despite being prohibited to do so because of his criminal history.Thursday — Kathryn Pugachow, 63, of Cartersville, Ga., was charged with misdemeanor retail theft and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Grove City PoliceMonday — A battery charger worth about $40 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Woodland Avenue. The theft happened between 3 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Mars PoliceMarch 2 — Kevin Garlicki, 27, of Rochester, Beaver County, was charged with 11 counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Zelienople PoliceFriday — Angela Brooks, 26, of Monaca was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana from an alleged incident Feb. 27.
State Police, Butler4:01 p.m. Sunday — Ryan A. Pinkerton, 31, of Ford City, Armstrong County, was arrested for drugged driving on Route 356 in Buffalo Township. Police said they found the suspect and his two passengers with suspected marijuana and other drug contraband.In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Pinkerton is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, careless driving and making an improper signal.Additionally, police charged both of his passengers — David M. Opalka, 29, and Brandon M. Whiteman, 21, both of Ford City — with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
State Police, Franklin2:30 p.m. Sunday — An Iowa man was arrested on a felony shoplifting charge after he allegedly stole nine items from the TA Travel Center on Route 8 in Barkeyville.Joe David Whitis, 58, of New Sharon was arraigned on a felony count of retail theft, and later placed in the Venango County Jail on $50,000 bail.
