BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will have special music Sunday by Debby Shutak.
The Nazarene World Week of Prayer began Feb. 28 and continues until Saturday. Prayers are for a different world area each day with the persecuted church Saturday.
Church members are saving Campbell's labels to help the Native American Christian Academy get a new passenger van.
The teen group, ESCAPE, is collecting rinsed soda cans to help fund its activities.
CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST
The youth group of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will participate in 30 hours of famine Friday and Saturday. They will not meet Sunday.
Holy Communion will be observed Sunday at both services.
There will be a finance meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Medium boxes of cereal are being collected as the March food cupboard contribution.
The deadline to order Easter flowers is March 13.
CHRIST'S OUTREACH
Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will show a movie after the morning worship service Sunday. It will be a brown bag lunch.

Paul Humphreys will be a guest speaker during the worship service Sunday. He will speak about the Crestfield Camp and Conference Center in Slippery Rock.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN
Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, is accepting extra contributions until Palm Sunday to support mission worker Josh Heikkila and his mission work. Donations will be doubled by a matching grant.
Two mission projects are being considered: Peki Seminary in Ghana and student pastor support for the fall.

The steering group of Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday and the church council will meet at 8 p.m.

The first Sunday mission offering will benefit the Butler County Relief Initiative.

The cause of the month is the Tracie Pittman Fund. She is a 15-year-old from Mercer who is suffering from POTS Syndrome.
